ARCHITECT PROFILE

Founded in 2018, HATCH Architects is a Woollahra-based architectural practice established by Mona Hashemi specialising in residential architecture throughout Sydney.

Our purpose is to partner with our clients to deliver contemporary architectural solutions that are both prominent and practical. We believe that every project is a unique opportunity to respond to the client’s brief, budget and site to produce an elegant and uplifting home that is a joy to live in.

Prior to establishing HATCH Architects, Mona graduated from The University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Architecture with first class honours and was awarded the RAIA top student prize for design excellence. She has worked with prominent architects in Sydney and Auckland as well as leading Sydney urban designers. Mona gained registration with the NSW Architects Registration Board in 2010.

Mona has over eighteen years’ architectural work experience and significant expertise in working with various Councils, consultants, and builders.

 

Mona is also an assessor for the Architectural Practice Exam with the NSW Architects Registration Board and Architects Accreditation Council of Australia.
